Energetic Balancing

Energetic Balancing (EB) is a three-part course curriculum specifically developed by Dr. Kerry D’Ambrogio DOM, AP, PT, DO- MTP to bridge the gap between bodywork and energy medicine. EB integrates manual therapy and energetic techniques to relieve tension in the energetic system affecting the core level of physical dysfunction locally and throughout the body.

Over time, our body tissues not only accumulate stress patterns of physical tension (poor ergonomics, trauma, surgery, sports injuries, car accidents, falls, etc.), but also unresolved energetic stress patterns from emotional tension (unsettled emotions, trauma, fears, phobias), mental tension (thoughts, beliefs), and consciousness. Unless released, these unresolved energetic stress patterns can alter physiology and create energetic lesions that eventually lead to dysfunction and disease.

EB releases these unresolved acute and chronic energetic stress patterns to balance the energetic system, improve physiology/function, and achieve overall health and homeostasis.

Energetic Balancing Curriculum and Course Objectives

The specifically designed EB Curriculum includes both Local and Total Body Treatment approaches that combine the principles of Quantum Theory and Energetic Medicine to systematically treat energetic lesions and balance the energetic system of the body.

Energetic Balancing Musculoskeletal (EB1-MS): In the first course, EB1-MS introduces the fundamental philosophy and principles of EB. Participants will learn how to dialogue with the body, how to navigate through the Treatment Application Chart, and how to evaluate and treat dysfunction at the physical level. Specific treatments will focus on Local Energetic Lesions in the musculoskeletal system, specifically fasciae (superficial, deep, and meningeal), musculotendons, bones, joints/sutures, and foreign objects in a single location. To help integrate EB into clinical practice, participants will be taken through a step by step process on how to perform intake, documentation, initial evaluation, re-evaluation, and follow up. Additionally, instruction includes how to perform energetic self-treatment sessions, face to face treatment sessions, and remote treatment sessions. No Prerequisite.

EB1-MS Course Objectives: Upon completion, participants will be able to:

  • Demonstrate an understanding of the general concepts and principles of Energetic Balancing (EB).
  • Understand how unresolved physical and emotional stress patterns can distort both the physical and vital body by creating observable local dysfunction.
  • Navigate through the EBMS Treatment Application Chart to identify the priority region and body part needing energetic balancing.
  • Perform the EBMS Three Phase Local Treatment Approach (Evaluation, Energetic Balancing, and Re-Evaluation) in a single location.
  • Perform the following EB Specific Techniques: Fascial Glide, Hold Space, Realignment, Molding, and Listening/Following.
  • Identify changes in the musculoskeletal system post treatment: asymmetry, range of motion, tissue tenderness/tension/tension, special tests, and functional limitations.

Energetic Balancing Mind Body (EB2-MB): In the second course, EB2-MB expands on the Local Approach course content presented in EBMS by including instruction on how to evaluate and treat energetic lesions in the visceral and endocrine systems. This course also introduces Internal Factors (thoughts, beliefs, emotions, and behaviors) and how these factors can influence physical health. Treatment expands to include multiple locations and vectors. Instruction includes how to perform energetic self-treatment sessions, face to face treatment sessions, and remote treatment sessions. Prerequisite EB1-MS.

EB2-MB Course Objectives: Upon completion, participants will be able to:

  • Demonstrate an understanding of Internal Factors and describe how they influence physical health.
  • Understand how unresolved physical and emotional stress patterns can distort the physical, vital, and mental body by creating observable local dysfunction.
  • Navigate through the EBMB Treatment Application Chart to identify the priority region and body part needing energetic balancing.
  • Perform the EBMB Three Phase Local Treatment Approach (Evaluation, Energetic Balancing, and Re-Evaluation) in multiple locations and on vectors.
  • Perform the following EB Specific Techniques: Fascial Glide, Hold Space, Realignment, Molding, and Listening/Following.
  • Identify changes in the visceral and endocrine systems post treatment: asymmetry, range of motion, tissue tenderness/tension/tension, special tests, and functional limitations.

Energetic Balancing Total Body (EB3-TB): EB3-TB In the third course, EB3-TB teaches the Total Body Approach used to evaluate and treat energetic lesions in the total body. EBTB expands on the content presented in EBMS and EBMB by including instruction on how to evaluate and treat energetic lesions throughout the supporting physical (nervous, arteriovenous, and lymphatic systems) and energetic networks (chakras and meridians) of the body. This course also examines External Factors and the concept of Consciousness, and how both can influence the total body lesion. Additional activation tools are introduced, and treatment locations are expanded to include fascial chains, regions, imagery, and combinations of the total body energy systems. Instruction includes how to perform energetic self-treatment sessions, face to face treatment sessions, and remote treatment sessions. Prerequisite EB1-MS and EB2-MB.

EB3-TB Course Objectives: Upon completion, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the supporting physical and energetic networks of the body.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of External Factors and the concept of Consciousness and how they both can influence the total body lesion.
  • Understand how unresolved physical and emotional stress patterns can distort both the physical, vital, mental, supramental, and bliss body by creating observable total body dysfunction.
  • Navigate through the EBTB Treatment Application Chart to identify the priority region and body part needing energetic balancing.
  • Perform the EBTB Three Phase Local Treatment Approach (Evaluation, Energetic Balancing, and Re-Evaluation) on fascial chains, multiple regions, and multiple combinations in the energetic system.
  • Perform the following EB Specific Techniques: Fascial Glide, Hold Space, Realignment, Molding, and Listening/Following.
  • Identify changes in total body energetic system post treatment: asymmetry, range of motion, tissue tenderness/tension/tension, special tests, and functional limitations.
